Who are we?
Iraqi Al-Aman Center-Kirkuk for microfinance is a non-governmental organization that facilitates access to capital to micro and small business entrepreneurs. This helps to enhance and improve the entrepreneurs' living standards by giving them short term loans with simple terms and conditions. IAAC message To increase the capacity and capability of small businesses in Kirkuk, develop their productivity, support owners of those businesses especially women, and improve their living standards through providing financial services and loans that meet their requirements. What we offer? We are offering three types of loans:

Micro business loans: May be used for working capital, acquiring fixed assets, or improving business facility. The loan range is from $100 to $2,500.

Women business loans: Micro business loans only for women. The loan range is range from $100 to $2,500

Taxi-cab loans: For repair or replacement of taxi cars. The loan range is from $100 to $2,500

Loans Conditions:

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

The business must be in operation for at least one year. Applications may be considered for businesses less than one year old if the applicant has extensive experience in the business activity, and if they have an lternate source of income.

The applicant must have a strong commitment and capacity to repay the loan on time.

The applicant must provide guarantors sufficient to cover the repayment of the loan.

The applicant should have no obligations or liabilities to pay for other lending institutions.

The actual loan amount and conditions depend on the project needs and ability to repay.

For Women Loans:

Only women can apply for this type of loans

Women are permitted to apply even if the project was of household type

For Taxi-cab loans:

The purpose of loan should be the repair or replacement of a car.

The applicant should be an employee at one of government establishments located in Kirkuk.

The applicant should own a car.

Details about loans:

The main purpose of our activity is to support the business of the loan applicant. Therefore, the loan amount must be used to finance the project that is funded. It should not be used for any other purpose.

The size of the loan will be determined on the financial statements of the applicant and may also be limited by his/her guarantor's income.

Loan term is 10 months on average for business loans and 12 months for taxi loans.

Loans are repaid monthly by the borrower at the bank specified by IAAC.

Civil Identification card

Iraqi citizenship certificate

Food Ration card

Residency card

Business registration certificate

Photocopy of the lease or title deed to the business space and house, if appropriate. If the business space is rented, the copy of the rental agreement should be signed by the landlord.

For Taxi-cab loans, these also are required:

Car registration under the name of applicant or a proxy approved by notary public office.

Fuel supply card.

Guarantees:

Co-signers, should be employees of Iraqi government establishments

Documentation required from guarantor:

Civil Identification card

Iraqi citizenship certificate

Food Ration card

Residency card

Job ID

Salary certification from the employer is required
